Welcome
Welcome to Sexi.com. A reviewed guide to the best of adult entertainment, art, literature, personalities, resources, and fetish information on the web -- in short, all forms of tasteful depravity. Sexi.com itself is an R-rated site, but you will find numerous links to X-rated material here. We endeavor to refrain from the use of explicit language and visuals on this site for many reasons, but mostly to provide a pleasant web-surfing experience for a wide selection of adult users whose personal tastes may vary and be insulted or offended by certain types of content. If you are either, underage, or are offended by adult content, then we suggest you leave.
We value your time. The time you spend time web-surfing is an investment, and we respect that. To this end, we strive to be an oasis in that vacuous desert of circle jerks and banner farms known as adult link-sites. There are glorious exception to this state of affairs, but as an experienced web-surfer you now that there are all too many adult link-sites which simply promote their own sites, or those sites which pay them for endorsement. These sites can be an enormous waste of time, and sometimes they're very hard to spot until you've wasted much of you own valuable time.
At Sexi.com we only include sites that we feel have something to offer, and that contribute to the adult web-surfing experience. In most cases, we will not review and include sites that abuse your web-surfing experience with numerous pop-up windows, or other annoyances. When we do link to these sites (e.g. Penthouse), it's because they clearly have something to contribute, but we'll try and warn you ahead of time. Ideally one pop-up window on exit is OK, but we'd personally prefer none.
All of our reviews are our own opinions, and we receive no compensation for our reviewed links. We only receive compensation for links which are clearly advertising, such as banner ads, and we are very selective about the advertisers and banner ads that we accept in this site (see Advertising, below).
Ultimately, we wish to establish a trust with our users, and to provide them with a valuable resource, which leads them to quality content while both, saving their time and respecting their intelligence. We very much want this to be a fun and useful source for adult content on the web. One that you'll bookmark and use often.
Our reviews are highly subjective, and personal, and you may not always agree with what we give high marks to, but we encourage your feedback and your input. After all, this site is really your site. We are building it for you to use. We want it to serve your needs, and we can only improve it with your contributions.
What Those Icons Mean
Those little square picture icons you see with the reviews are our attempt to give you a quick visual queue about a site's content. It's a system that is highly subjective, and far from perfect, but we hope it helps you in you web-surfing.

Submitting Sites for Review
We encourage the submission of new sites for review, but because this site is a reviewed index of adult links, not all sites submitted will be accepted, and you may not agree with the review we give your site. After all, everyone thinks their site is the best, that's only natural. However, we feel a responsibility to our users to offer our subjective two-bits on a site's design and its content. If you feel that one of our reviews is blatantly wrong or misleading, then please let us know. We'll be happy to investigate.
Pay sites can only be reviewed properly, if we are given temporary access to members areas to asses content. We can not afford to subscribe to every site we review -- it's not an economically viable option -- and there are numerous precedents in other industries to "comp" products and/or services for review to qualified media organizations.
Dead Links & Bad Web-Sites
Adult content web-sites come and go pretty quickly, so please report any dead links us immediately. Also if you find that a web-site in this directory has become nothing more than a bunch of banner ads and pop-up windows, or otherwise no longer makes a valid contribution to adult content on the internet, please Let us know. We can't make this a better directory without your input.
Advertising
Advertising is our life's blood, so we welcome all inquiries. However, our users always come first, and we do feel that certain standards should be maintained to keep both our R-rating, and to keep our users' trust and confidence. To this end, we are very careful about our selection of advertisers and of their advertisements. They must be legitimate businesses that have something valuable to offer our users, and they must be free of any history of fraud or deceit -- which unfortunately is rampant in this industry.
The banner ads and/or other graphic forms of advertising must be tasteful and free of explicit depictions of sex. If we've seen one stupid animated "bobbing head" banner, we've seen them all, and we're not impressed. In fact, we are not big fans of any animated or flashing banner ads, as they are a distracting annoyance to our users, and our users always come first! We will not allow our editorial content to be co-opted by advertising. In the end, this policy will only benefit our advertisers, as they will then share in the trust developed between us and our users.
Current advertising options include general rotation across the site, specific category rotation, pay per impression, pay per click, and exclusive and non-exclusive category sponsorship.
